Announcing the New West London RFC Web Site
As you may have noticed the club web site has been given a new lick of paint as well as a complete overhaul! It has taken a bit longer than expected (for which I apologise) but I am glad to report the web site is now live and phase 1 complete.
There are a few things that still need to be added and tidied up which I will be working on over the next week or two. For example, ‘Fixtures and Results’ is still not fully complete and there will be some new features introduced soon. Also, at some point in the near future we will be launching a ‘Club Shop’ from where you will be able to order West London RFC Club Training Kit and Merchandise. So for the time being bear with me and do not be surprised if things change slightly!
One last thing, the web site has been developed using modern standards and techniques and works best when viewed with current, modern web browsers such as Firefox 3.6, Chrome 5 and Opera 10.5+. Internet Explorer 7 / 8 also work though certain features and effects applied will not be shown. You may also find that with Internet Explorer 6 parts of the web site, shall we say, look a bit strange. Unfortunately, Internet Explorer 6 is a bit long in the tooth (10 years) and if you are able to I would really recommend you upgrade to one of the above browsers at least; not only do they offer a lot of new features but more importantly they are far, far more secure than Internet Explorer 6.
