WEST LONDON RUGBY CLUB

Founded in 2000 through the merger of three historic clubs — Old Gaytonians’ (est. 1934), Roxeth Manor (est. 1960), and Old Kingsburians’ (est. 1962) — West London Rugby Club has built on decades of rugby tradition to create one of West London’s most welcoming and competitive rugby communities.

At the heart of everything we do is camaraderie. Whether it’s post-match socials, club events, or home and overseas tours, we foster an environment where rugby is played and enjoyed among friends — for players, members, families, and supporters alike. That team spirit extends to the pitch too, where dedication and hard work has seen us achieve the following accoloades in recent seasons:

2023/24 - Middlesex Merit Table Division 3 Champions.
2024/25 - Middlesex Merit Table Division 2 Champions.
2025/26 - Middlesex Merit Table Division 1 Play-off Finalists.

People always say that rugby changes their life. For me, West London RFC has changed mine. When I became a part of this club, the honourable old boys welcomed me with open arms and took care of me. And now, the club's youth brings an energy and enthusiasm that makes it a truly exceptional and special club.

— Richie Parillon is the Club Captain and record cap-holder of West London, having joined the club at the age of 18.

PLAYERS & MEMBERS FROM OVER 20 NATIONS

Our members come from over 20 nations across every continent, bringing together working professionals, university students, and rugby enthusiasts from all walks of life. We’ve welcomed international players from Japan and Zimbabwe, former rugby league professionals, and enthusiastic beginners — united by a shared love of the game.

I could not wish to have found a better club. Amazing teammates, great coaches and a friendly & supportive environment throughout the club. You will struggle to find a better place to spend your Wednesdays and Saturdays.

— Andrea Lorenzi (28), moved to London from Italy and wanted to play rugby again.

GO ON TOUR WITH THE ONIONS & CRAZY HORSES

We are passionate about touring. From the beaches of Bournemouth to the rugby heartlands of Europe, our tours are the stuff of club legend. Past destinations include Città di Castello, Rome, Paris, Dublin, and Zagreb.

Join The Crazy Horses — our renowned 7s tour team — or earn your place among The Onions, our exclusive touring side with a history stretching back to the mid-1980s.

COMPREHENSIVE, MODERN PLAYING & SOCIAL FACILITIES

Our club offers excellent facilities for our members to enjoy, including a dedicated clubhouse, subsidised bar and grill, on-site changing rooms, a floodlit training area, a scrum machine, and a perfectly manicured match pitch — you will often see the groundsman outside pruning the pitch with scissors. You can also catch all the live sports action on our high-definition big-screen TV inside the club bar. Lastly, tucked in the corner, a dozen-plus well-preserved vintage old boys.

Find us at: London Marathon Playing Field Greenford, Birkbeck Avenue, Greenford, UB6 8LS.

From the beginning, West London welcomed me, despite having never played rugby. My coaches and teammates have helped me develop and improve as a player to complete my transition from an ex-footballer to a rugby player.

— Josh Baker (18) had never played rugby but has taken to the game quickly in a short space of time.
